I drove up to the top of the hill to the west of us to find pine trees to dig up and plant in my yard. Unfortunately, lots of aspen, dogwood, juniper trees, and jungle style stuff, but the pines were south of where i was at. Anyhow, the 4900-8100 ft climb was fun for the 4-runner and i got to test out its cool 4 wheel drive gadgets. Vehical skid control, downhill assist control, brake control, auto differential control, auto shock height adjustment. Gosh, after all that turned on, the truck makes more noise than a 747 in a tail spin. Lots of clicks, beeps, visual cues on the dash. Kinda weird to feel the brakes and steering wheel on auto pilot though..... |
