Central California???? Bllleeecchhhhh!

 

Um, Have you EVER even been to Visalia? Didn't think so. Listed as #34 in the country's best places to live. Its at the base of the sierras in the Sequoa Ntl, Forest. Charlie just moved there. Until you actual go places and check it out, dont be so negative all the time. We have made 4 trips there and love it. So THAT what matters. Also, by the way, Reno (the biggest little dump in the world) wasnt even listed at all. And there you have it.

 

Negative? Who's being negative. I was just messing with you. You're sounding a little stressed there bro. But, the idea of living with Cali's taxes, etc. just doesn't make any sense to me. Also, location. . . you may be putting down Reno but lets see. . .Tahoe, Sierras, San Fran. close to visit and then run away from, Death Ride, skiing 20 minutes from my front door, hiking in the Sierras 15 minutes from my front door, roadbiking everywhere, mountain biking everywhere, low taxes, etc. I'm pretty happy. Only complaint is the cost of housing which appears to be much better in Visalia so that's cool about the place. By the way, I had no idea you were moving to Vis by your post. When you said Central Cal I was thinking Fresno or Modesto or something. Big difference between the foothills and the Central Valley. Good luck.

 

Um yeah, we are stressed. We too will have skiing (mammoth mtn) is a very short trip. Sierras are part of visalia, monterrey is 1 1/2 hours away etc. Its a very cool town. Pop 150k so not that big yet, but have big towns all over. Fresno, and LA.
