Walls without sockets |
So we have the basement finishing cost factored into the selling price. All is well we think until we go to the house and notice that in the 980sq ft lower level there are a whopping ZERO power outlets. Yep a big NADDA, NONE. Oops. Seems the drywall contractor forgot that it is code to have an outlet every 6 feet. So did they just cover them up or did they forget to wire them completely. THAT is the million dollar question. So to work they go tearing out all the drywall until the answer is known. Gotta love contractors. hehe.
On another note, STILL no final word wether the paperwork we signed on friday went through or not. Gotta love how these title companies work. Stay tuned for more as the drama unfolds. |
