| Back from Reno... |
We survived Reno for the last 12 days. Was great fun. Tatiana had a blast and did very well. So we got back last night, and I went out to water the grass. I was standing there when I felt a feeling that I can liken to a hot nail going through my foot. I looked down to see a scorpion scuttling off into the night. Yep, he got me. I was at first so mad that I chased him down and squished him, but then the feeling of a hot poker starting coming to full swing. Holy ouch is all I can say. So I took a benadryl and some motrin, called the ER, and sat it out. 2 glasses of wine to help ease the pain was in order. I feel okay now, but dang, that freaking hurt on a scale of 1-10, it was a 20. Imagine a bee sting x10!!! Here is a picture of that little $#*$!!!!! |

Yes, I was barefoot watering the grass. I was standing on the front porch steps. I found and killed another one in the backyard. I need to hire Terminex I think.

They come with the desert dude! Serious ouch. Just be glad they don't kill you out here. You could spray and that would knock some of them out. Problem is they live under protective cover til they come out. Again, Ouch!
