| The 4-Runner goes to the shop |
So i was driving along the other day and noticed the street was all icy. So i pushed the button for 4-Hi on the dashboard. What comes next was a series of god awful grinding noises and clanks. So i pull over (i was going 25 mph) and turn off the 4 wheel drive. I then re-engage the button and start the vehicle again only to the sound of the grinding loud popping noise. Seems the 4 wheel drive went out on my 1 year old Toyota 4-Runner. A bit disappointing considering there are only 14000 miles on it and i've never even taken it in the dirt!!! So, now I wait to find out the damage.... |

It better be under warranty. My truck has 146,000 with no problems so far. Of course I'm crossing my fingers as the miles wrack up on it.
